The basement of
this Lake Bonaventure Estate home is designed purely for fun and
entertainment. Housing the award-winning Sony SXRD Pearl front
projector, images are delivered onto a 92" fixed-frame Firehawk
Screen in full HD 1080p quality. Audio is handled by the
flagship Sony 5200ES 7.1 channel A/V Receiver feeding Bowers &
Wilkins CM series speakers.
The Sony unit was
selected for it's all around robust performance, ease of use with
it's ground breaking menu system and convenient number of high
definition inputs for future upgradeability. The system also
supports USB music drives and features 1080p up-conversion for
non-HD sources.
An Xbox 360,
Playstation 2 and GameCube currently anchor the gaming while a Sony
5-disc DVD player with HDMI carousels the evening's movies.
A Unity multimedia server, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii are the
next upgrades to complete the fully digital experience. |
